Initially I was quite impressed with the items that were available for selection as well as that there was delivery available outside of the Canada Post strike, which I felt confident would be fulfilled. Unfortunately, though I was quite disappointed. The gift basket was to be delivered Dec. 22 and finally just arrived Jan. 6. Several items were not at all what I had selected. The boxes of crackers and cheese were wet and in poor shape. One of the selected cheeses required refrigeration, and with the shape of the packaging was deemed questionable whether it was good. This was not a good experience, from the extremely delayed delivery, the contents being different than my selections, and the poor condition of some of the contents. Thank you.

Gift basket arrived 2 weeks late long after Christmas
I paid expedited shipping for this to be delivered on Friday, December 20 and after weeks of silence it was finally delivered today, Monday January 6 - after Christmas had come and gone.
The gift basket was left by the courier outside on the recipient’s doorstep when they were out.
Over the past few weeks, I tried several times to get in touch with someone from the Gourmet Gifts Customer Service team to get an ETA but nobody picked up the phone or replied to my emails.
The courier company website was also not updated in a timely manner to reflect the package’s location.
The fact that this gift basket was delivered long after Christmas (and after the holiday break was over when people were back to work/school) completely defeated the purpose of me buying this as a Christmas gift.
This was one of three gift baskets that I purchased this year as Christmas gifts for people and I had the same experience with those too. I will not be a repeat customer.
